Well Elke's beautifully elegant wire shot has won the first challenge. Well done @elke!
So it's Elke's job to find a photographer to set and host the next settings challenge (unless you want to do it yourself Elke?) This challenge has had some wonderful support so many thanks to everybody who entered, gave feedback and voted and thanks to Kathy @myhrhelper for coming up with the idea and asking me to set the first challenge. I hope everybody has enjoyed using f5.6 and other wide apertures!

O wow!!! Thank you all.. I just joined in for the fun and never expected to win with my piece of wire (or even make it to the final 6) I'm really thinking about what to do; host or find one to host the next challenge... (I've only picked up the camera to do some "serious" photographing myself about a year ago and don't even own a DSLR) If there is a photographer with a brilliant idea for the next challenge, please contact me (just ad a comment to one of my old pics) I will do some brainstorming myself too...
@elke Congratulations Elke - It sounds like you should get someone to host - that was actually the original intent for the winner to select someone. Elke I can make some recommendations or you can look at the last challenge and see if there was someone who offered good suggestions.
Since this is the second challenge I can e-mail you something of how the challenge write up should look like since the first write up was a little different. If you e-mail me at Kathy@myHRhelper.com I will send that to you.
@boogie Keep working at it - that is how we learn. I never knew what the f5.6 even was until this challenge, I am still learning how this effect works but I'm in a better place than before it started. Also, you can always post your pic's and someone may give you suggestions on what is going wrong. Don't be embarrassed about asking questions. It's not about winning a challenge, it's about learning.
@agima the only setting we learned so far was f5.6.
Could we use the following format for future challenges.
