New Artist Challenge - Paul Strand

Many thanks to Debbie @deborah63 for hosting the last artist challenge and of course to all of you who voted for my interpretation of Andric Ljubodrag's style of photographic post production manipulation.

After much deliberation I have decide to revist an artist from the early days of this challenge - Paul Strand.

Paul Strand was an American photographer and filmmaker who, along with fellow modernist photographers like Alfred Stieglitz and Edward Weston, helped establish photography as an art form in the 20th century.

There are no rules apart from taking the photo during the time frame. You may take a photograph that is in the artist’s style, or simply be inspired by the artist's work. You may also enter as many pictures as you please.

You may opt to post your entry on to this discussion. If you do, simply click on the arrow at the bottom of your photo’s narrative (next to your comment and fav numbers), copy the Embed Code and paste it with your comment here. You may submit multiple entries.

Challenge begins today 27th August and will run until midnight (GMT) 10th September.

just noted the tag above ac_paulstrand but other people have used a hyphen ac-paulstrand so you will need to check both Sally

@kali66 I have change the tag to the dash as that had more entries - only yours showed with the underscore. I will still check both though when it comes to choosing finalists.
