As you see, Colton soldiers on making beautiful imagery in the face of ALS.
His color imagery depicting "Urban Exploration" is the goal of this challenge. Colton's colors are rich and his choice of subject matter and composition are simple and refined.
I asked for Colton's permission before starting this and he is thrilled to be featured. I ask each of the 6 finalists send me a .jpg of the image to me at lasousa@me.com. I will send it along directly to Colton and ask him to contact each of the photographers with words of thanks and encouragement.

we had another couple of challenges in the past where the artist participated in the judging and critique, one even joined 365 to give feedback on all the entries, it was great
excellent challenge. hope this gets more participation than the last one. got to find me a wingman so i could go explore the under bridges and rundown tenements in the city.
This is an inspiring story about this photographer and I think that I will definitely give this a go as it looks so interesting. Thanks for a great subject for this theme/challenge Louis. I look forward to all of the entries and adding a few of my own.

He will be judging for the winner and I have asked him to communicate with all of the finalists. I am sure he will. He is a wonderful guy and a fabulous photographer. His portfolio is on the site, many mountain landscapes. His eye for composition is exquisite.
@summerfield where do you think we should go? I actually know a spot in an underpass with colourful artwork... but it’s a bit of a hike and not sure there’s much else of interest along the way (it’s on one of the trails not far from my house)

@pickerandagrinner the conventional tag is ac-surname ie. ac-allen, but if you do change it you must check both tags as people may have already done some? just check

oh its changed! click rather the bent arrow for sharing options beneath the pictures to get the embed code , click in the box and it will go blue so you can copy and paste
