Again, Thanks to all who voted, commented, and of course to bea993 for hosting the technique80 challenge.
Remember what it was like to be about a yard (91cm) tall, having to tilt your head back to look up at the world? Neither do I. But I know how to reproduce it with a camera. Position the camera 1-3 feet (30-91cm) above the ground and point the lens up.
A Large Angle POV while standing erect is often used to shoot buildings, monuments, clouds, etc. For this challenge either shoot indoors with a 10 foot (3 metre) ceiling, or outdoors with a subject less than that height. Doing so will allow us to look at familiar human scale objects in a new way. I hope.
Technique 81 details:
Subject - Low POV & Large Angle
Start - Feb 11, 2018
Finish - Feb 25, 2018
Tag - technique81
Only photos taken and posted within these dates will be eligible for voting.
Have fun, but take care with your back and watch for objects best not knelt upon. Check if your tripod's center post is removable and the legs splay out permitting a POV inches off the ground.
To enter the challenge tag your photos with technique81.
IF YOU CAN, PLEASE ALSO PLACE A COPY OF YOUR PHOTO ON THIS THREAD SO WE CAN ALL ADMIRE YOUR WORK AND TO GIVE INSPIRATION TO OTHERS BUT IT'S NOT ESSENTIAL

Another not terribly creative shot...but at least I gave it a try.
This is a grand old courthouse in Denton, Texas.
