Street photographers use the general public and public spaces (not only street...) as their subject matter. Street photography is closely tied to the spontaneous and unpredictable. It requires more improvisation and intuition to execute than many other types of photography.
Street photography focuses on people (not posing), in the street or in any public place (train station, museum, parks, waiting room, etc). If not the person directly, the subject could be the person’s shadow or even yourself. To find out more about street photography here are some helpful resources:
