the man on the very right with his hands behind him looks like my brother! hahaha! wouldn't that be something if that happens? fabulous street shot, miss taffy - with the unsure body language of the three in front of the map, tis a true street shot. aces!
I can completely identify how these folks feel... you can really tell that they are trying to figure things out, in a city that is spoilt for choice. Nice mix for two themes in one!
Been there! Seen it! Done it! This makes me laugh as it brings back so many wonderful memories of two fabulous Chicago holidays! Great candid and perfect for your themes. Fav!
Fab street shot! So there's an area near you called Near North? The city where my daughter lives ha a nickname of The Near North! As in, "not the far north"!
i like that the people who are stopped are looking around in all different directions, as if this really is a decision point for where to go next. I think it makes a great street shot and six word story.
I like the sense of suspense here. I feel that, if I look for long enough, everyone will start to move. And what are the people looking into and out of the shot looking at? Intriguing capture.
@elkereturns I suspect our 'near north' means something totally different than the near-far north of Canada! Chicago has the 'north side, west side, and south side' as general areas, and east is essentially the lake. So 'near north' is the downtown area just north of the river.
