We’re up to the 40th run of the Black and White Challenge and as you can see from the list below it was a challenge in and of itself to choose the next theme! I finally decided, “Why not go back to photography’s roots?” and simply shoot in black and white with a nod to things of the past. One of the beauties of black and white photography is that it can make a modern scene or object look like something from the turn of the century. For this round of the black and white challenge your goal will be to take something new and make it look old.
This challenge will run from April 9, 2019 until April 23, 2019 (cut off midnight wherever you live).

Your pictures must be in black and white but there are no restrictions on what you shoot. You may try a street shot, or a picture of something on your coffee table- the possibilities are endless. You can also use processing or effects to bring a vintage or antique mood to your shot. The artistic choice is yours as well.
