The waterfront at Russell was buzzing with holidaymakers yesterday. Even though it was blustery and grey, it wasn't cold and there were a lot of people enjoying the beach and outside dining. I took this photo just outside the Duke of Marlborough, the holder of the #1 liquor license in New Zealand. They also do a great meal. I love sitting on their lovely wide verandahs, however, last night we had to sit inside as there was no space left outside.
