2015 February 12: Yesterday I visited one of my favorite birding hotspots: UAH Duck Pond. While there, I saw a good many Gadwall, Canada Geese, and Mallards, as well as a few Ring-billed Gulls, Ring-necked Ducks, and American Coots.
In the trees near the ponds, I was thrilled to see some Yellow-rumped Warblers. I haven't had any of these beautiful birds visit my yard this year, so it was a treat to see them in the area!
