2015 February 19: Today my youngest son turned 26 years old. He is an awesome young man; I am blessed to have him in my life.
For our celebration meal today he had requested grilled deluxe bacon cheeseburgers, grilled bratwurst, french fries, and baked beans (as well as our traditional double-batch of birthday brownies) ...Since today's high temperature was in the mid-20 degrees F., I was very glad that we had prepared ahead of time and done the bulk of our grilling on a warmer day!
We did venture out on our deck to quickly grill the bratwurst ...It felt odd to be out standing on ice in our winter coats while we grilled!
