2015 May 20: I had never eaten "Hoppin' John" before ...as it has jalapenos in it, I had always expected it to be too hot for my taste. However, this cleverly colorful label caught my eye in the grocery store ...and I decided that it might be worth a try.
To my surprise, I found that I actually like this food. And, fresh from the success of trying something new in the culinary realm, I decided to try something new with my photography today: I photographed the label that had stood out so brightly on the store shelves.
