Day 159 of 365: Juvenile Blue Jay

2015 June 8: For several minutes this afternoon this cute young blue jay sat on my deck and obligingly tried out non-stop poses for me ...leaving only when I finally put up my camera. I especially like this nonchalant tilt-of-the-head pose.

He is a handsome youngster. This a great capture. I love the downy texture of his feathers. I've never seen one so young or cooperative :)
