2016.02.9: We had a beautiful snowfall today ...It was perfect: enough to make the world appear to be a wonderfully-shaken snow-globe, but not enough to cause any travel problems. I was glad to see these birds (female Northern cardinal, Dark-eyed junco, and Song sparrow) all getting along well together as they perched on my deck to watch the softly falling snow.
