Red-flowered Dogwood

2016.04.01: We have 14 dogwood trees in our yard ...Although most of them are white-flowered, several years ago we planted a couple of Cherokee Red dogwoods among them. Each spring I enjoy seeing their deep red blooms amidst the bountiful white ones.

I have never seen red ones - this is a beautiful dogwood. I use to have a pink one, but they weren't as hardy as the whites. Lovely focus.
