2016.04.30 Saturday: Today was the first time this year that we have seen a ruby-throated hummingbird; he was feeding from the nectar of our petunias. I immediately grabbed my camera, but still I was not quick enough to capture a photo of the bird before he flew off to the shelter of a nearby tree ...Almost!
I am certain that I will soon get a pic of the hummer ...but for today, in order to make up for his absence in my photo, I applied some textures to make a "painterly" effect.
