2016.09.19 Monday: While running some errands today, Scott and I treated ourselves to a Wendy's Frosty and went to the Duck Pond for a peaceful snack -- while I did a bird count, of course!
By the time that we were able to do this, the afternoon had turned quite hot. To our amusement, as soon as we arrived we watched all of the Mallards waddle over to the shade of a tree trying to cool off. The other ducks seemed to be taking a nap until the coolness of evening arrived.
