2016.09.29 Thursday: Each year my community has a Walk-100-miles-in-100-days challenge. A good many businesses and organizations sign up to walk as teams; not being affiliated with one of these, I am on the "Individual Walkers" team.
Organizers of the Challenge always schedule several fun events throughout the duration. Today's event was a free walk through our local botanical gardens.
My husband and son accompanied me; we ended up walking 2+ miles throughout the gardens -- admiring the beautiful landscaping and enjoying the wonderfully crisp air from a recent cold front. We had an awesome time getting in better shape!
