2017.09.02 Saturday: Today was the start of our 2017 Football/Tailgate season. It was a beautiful sunny day with a crisp breeze -- perfect football weather!
We started up our electric smoker and for several hours cooked smoked chicken for tonight's supper to enjoy as we watched the game. My son also baked a delicious cheese bread to accompany it; the recipe took a while to rise and bake, but it was very nice.
We all had a wonderful time eating and cheering for the team. Our team won; so we enjoyed the game!
