2017.09.16 Saturday: Fall migration is well underway in my area now ...We have seen some beautiful birds enjoying visiting our yard for their "rest stop" the past few days.
This afternoon there was a flurry of activity as birds rested in our maple trees ...a couple of awesome Northern flickers, an Eastern wood-peewee, some Magnolia warblers, an American redstart, and the usual Blue jays were all in attendance.
This is a collage of several of the pics that I took during this wonderful time of watching the birds.
@ribbet9 At first I though that they were Cedar waxwings (We usually see a lot of those in spring and fall), but when I managed to get a closer look found that they are American Redstarts. They certainly are beautiful!
