2017.10.20 Friday: Our favorite local orchard (Isom's Orchard, which was opened in 1957 and is now being operated by the fourth generation of the Isom family!) posted yesterday that they are now harvesting Pink Lady apples (my son's favorite).
So this afternoon we went there and bought a bushel of apples -- and also bought some of their famous-in-this-area Apple Cider Slushies. The cider is made from apples grown on the orchard, and does not contain any additives -- not even sugar!
It was a special (and I hope healthful) treat to enjoy on this beautiful autumn day!
