2018.02.28 Wednesday: Although temperatures are forecast to go back down to freezing this weekend, my area is already showing signs of spring: Migrating birds are flying through; pansies, violas, Bradford pears, tulip magnolias, and maples are blooming; the foliage of our iris and daylilies is already springing up. Our grass has already turned a deep shade of green and needs to be cut as soon as the rain stops and the ground dries up!
