Selective Color

2018.03.04 Sunday: Week 10 of the 52-Week Dogwood Challenge -- Vision: Selective Color

Thanks to this challenge I have learned to use the Selective Color function on my camera ...I had never realized that I can select several colors and set a range of tones for the camera to detect. I don't foresee that I will use this feature much, but it is still nice to know how to do it both in camera and in Photoshop. This particular pic was done in Photoshop.

This photo was taken while walking the Greenway today. There were a good many other people walking and hiking there also ...many families (several with toddlers riding tricycles), and many people walking their dogs. Most of the trees now budding out were white, but there were a few Rosebuds with beautiful purple blooms scattered about.

It was a very nice walk!
Picks out the figures beautifully but also provides softness for the walking trail! I do like it!

looks like a lovely walk, with spring on its way. I like the way we can see walkers both near and far in colour. This really works for me.
