2018.09.20 Thursday: We have been extremely busy this past summer with home renovations, travels, etc., so I have gotten dreadfully behind in my 365 project. Rather than trying to catch up, I am just going to start again with posting pics of our recent activities.
This is my milkshake from The Yard Milkshake Bar in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The milkshakes come in a quart-sized jar; patrons choose 2 flavors of ice cream, 4 toppings, and 1 full-size dessert to top their milkshake. (Mine was topped with a slice of cheesecake.)
We all knew that we would be completely unable to eat all of this in one sitting (or even one day!), so we took canning jar lids with us so we could seal our jars and put them in the freezer. It took me 4 days to finish this delicious creation ...It was very good to the last spoonful!
