I am not a fan of personal fireworks; I prefer public fireworks shows put on by professionals. However, each fourth of July almost everyone in my neighborhood ventures outdoors near sunset, and the sky becomes filled in all directions with beautiful displays exploding in the skies.
Michael likes to contribute to the neighborhood show, so while we were both out-and-about today I met him at the fireworks superstore to pick out a few. I was very surprised to see the store filled with families with small children ...When my sons were young, I didn't let them near fireworks.
We picked out a few fireworks and are now looking forward to seeing their beautiful colors and patterns in a few days.
