This is Wendover clock tower. It sits on the corner of the High Street and the Tring road (or Icknield Way, as it's also known; it's an old roman road.) . The building below the clock houses our tourist information centre.
I went for a walk round the block this afternoon to get some more practice at going manual. This was the day's best effort. Cropped a bit, sharpened a bit and straightened a bit. I can never get my verticals vertical when I take a photo.

[auto-focus, all else ms bright overcast]
Nicely composed shot!

Yes a good composition. The focus is sharp and the colour good.

I can't get my verticals vertical either, but am consistent. I almost always have to rotate 4 degrees clockwise.

Four minutes later and you could have quoted "Stands the clock at ten to three ... And is there honey still for tea?"

@bigsusan55 That crossed my mind, too, but I couldn't be bothered to wait. :-D
