Still down in Sussex, we decided to go to Worthing and walk along the beach. Back to the usual grey skies and cold winds. This is Worthing Pier, originally built in 1862 and the site of the annual 'Bird Man' competition held in August during which people jump off of the end of the pier and attempt to fly at least 46 metres.
The tide was coming in quite fast and as the light was so flat I decided to give the image a high-key treatment
