We walked nearly nine miles today on a round trip to Richmond Park via Teddington Lock. I thought we should try and walk off some of the Christmas excesses but this plan was rather scuppered when I found a cafe in the Isabella Plantation car park and felt driven to buy a bacon roll and mug of tea!
I have posted a lot of Bushy Park stags so I thought I'd redress the balance with some from Richmond Park. Now the rut is some time ago, the stags are quite happy to graze together peacefully. For some reason the expression of the stag on the left makes me smile - 'yes, yet another photographer wants to take my portrait'!!
