This is a strange day. It is the day that we all get to vote as to whether the UK remains in the EU or leaves the EU. It has been a truly awful campaign on both sides with mud slinging, totally made up threats or promises and there is nowhere to get a balanced debate.
Despite this I am very clear in my mind that the only way forward is to remain in the EU. We have spent nearly 8 years in recession and are finally turning the corner economically. We have trading agreements and I think there is safety in being part of a larger entity. No, it is not perfect, yes there is room for improvement but I truly think it is better to be IN and try and negotiate changes from the inside rather than to leave and try and start all over again.
The polls have been neck and neck but I am hoping that at the last minute the ‘undecideds’ vote to ‘remain’. So, here is my vote - question - why do we always have to use a pencil? Surely that means the result scan be rubbed out?!!
