Day 78 in lock down.

Not an incredibly productive day today. Colin trimmed the front hedge in the morning and I swept up as that's what I'm best at. I then went for a third haircut for Colin. I do get nervous each time as one slip with the clippers and I could ruin his day and possibly the next couple of weeks! However I am getting the hang of them now and even though I am nowhere as near as good as Trevor his barber, I have to say this third cut is definitely the best of three. We are now effectively in credit after paying out for the Wahl hair clippers.

This afternoon we both tried to sort out some bank accounts and shift some money around and realised how complicated the banking security system is, to the extent that we can't actually get hold of our own money. Very frustrating.

To alleviate the stress we wandered down to the riverside in the Manor Road recreation ground and then walked around to the Teddington footbridge… but not across. I rustled up one of Colin’s favourites fo dinner - a cooked breakfast/dinner complete with Black pudding - seemed to go down well.

40,883PHE the total dead in the UK (up 286) - although it is actually closer to 50,107
