Today is the first day of autumn apparently although it is still warm and sunny. I had promised my friend that I would take some press photos of a group of actors who are putting on a production of ‘Playing Jane’ at the Landmark. This is a charity production and the actors are from both television and theatre. I had thought I would be going out at about 11.00 but in the event I was not called until 4.00pm. The actors were a little precious and I had to wait a further twenty minutes or so before they were ready. In the event it was all over fairly quickly but as I only needed 3-4 shots I got what I wanted.
We have been thinking about a trip to Portugal touring the Alentejo district to be exact as Portugal came off the quarantine list last week. However, cases are still high and there is now a serious chance it will return to the quarantine list in the next couple of weeks. As I am releasing my Twickenham print next month, the last thing I want is to be in self isolation so sadly this looks like another other trip that never actually was.
