Day 15 of lock down 2 (day 237 since the start of the 1st lock down)
This morning I managed to escape the lock down for a work meeting that is allowed within the rules at ETNA. We all wore face masks and sat at opposite ends of the table! We discussed the continued advertising campaign for the limited edition montages and I collected some of the excellent flyers that Ivana and Vanessa have created with the assistance of the local print company.
After my meeting we headed back, stopping via the Mayors House in St Margarets. He seemed very pleased with his print that will remain hanging in his extension until the refurbishment works have been completed in the council offices. On my return home I found another 4 orders for prints, two people have ordered two prints each which makes delivery a lot easier - I am almost a quarter of the way through orders raising over £700 for ETNA’s sensory garden.
In the afternoon I emailed the committee about the Christmas Social next month and we went ahead and ordered a new freezer for the garage. Although the one we have is still working, it is now nearly 40 years old and must be eating electricity as there is permanent ice on TOP of the freezer beneath the tumble dryer. I think it will be a lot more efficient and as it is slightly taller than the existing freezer, I have everything crossed that I have measured correctly and the tumbler dryer will still be able to stand on top!
