Happy anniversary to us… not our wedding anniversary but the anniversary of our very first date in Putney back in 1998, some 14 years ago.
We had a really nice day starting off by getting the bus into Richmond (I dropped off some Christmas cards to Waterstones) and then we caught the bus up to Kew Gardens. It was bitterly cold but a beautiful day as we wondered around the gardens which were pretty quiet and discovered an art installation of mirrors.
We were getting peckish so headed back to Richmond and lunched in the Wholefoods store where you select food and pay by the weight.
It was out to Kew in the cold in the evening and luckily the lecture was good which made the effort worthwhile.
