We had a lie in but were still up before everyone else and it was a challenge to work out how to prepare breakfast in the new kitchen as we could not work out how the social tap with boiling water works so we resorted to boiling a pan of water on the hob as there was no kettle. Two expeditions to the old kitchen and we had garnered enough supplies for a bowl of cereal and a cup of tea!!
Later on everyone started appearing and later in the morning we headed out together to a field about half an hours drive away. Karen had booked the field for exercising both the dogs. It was pretty muddy but with an absolutely clear sky and sunshine. Here’s today’s family shot with my new phone.
We had cold meats and a buffet style dinner before a round of games in the evening. Some people are better team players than others - enough said!
