For some reason I woke up early and could not get back to sleep the morning so instead I got up at around 7.00am and managed to put all of the Christmas swag with lights before Colin came down.
I had a lot of cards to make up for The Loft and also Waterstones in Teddington which I managed to make up and deliver all in one day.
I also had a doctors appointment later in the day to review my blood test results and ECG from back in November. It was Dr Potts who is very good. She was not concerned about any of the results which is good news but my intermittently high blood pressure is rather strange so she has requested that I have further tests by wearing a special gadget for a 24-hour period to find out exactly what is happening.
After the doctors appointment I walked to The Loft to deliver cards and discovered that the entire of Broad Street has been dug up since a bad water leak due to a broken mains pipe. Todays photos is of the very impressive machines working to resurface the road.
