This should have been the full moon!

It is a full moon this evening and not only that but the moon is 13% closer to the earth so it should have appeared even bigger. What I had not bargained for was the approaching storm clouds that are forecast to bring violent electric storm over the next twelve hours or so. So... as I stood in the dark with the camera mirror locked up, remote release in hand, I noticed the shadow on the wardrobe behind me cast by the neighbour's living room light opposite. This is as close as a 'selfie' that you'll get for the moment with camera on tripod, remote release and framed by the walnut tree leaves. (Most effective when viewed large)
WOW Emma, I love this!! just stunning...in fact it's a fav....I sat on the windowsill for half an hour last night waiting for a gap in the clouds!

Those shadows and shapes are really effective.
