Ceiling abstract

The monochrome with its various lightings gives a nice abstract feel to it.Do you think your eye would perceive it as even more abstract if the bottom little bit of wall was cropped off? Just a silly thought..... :)

@robz Hi Rob, thanks for your interest and for your suggestion. I tried it, and what happens is that if you crop the wall bit on the bottom or/and the door bit on the right, you improve the abstract feeling, but you also loose all references to the real environment : you can not guess what the starting subject is anymore, it could just be a drawing on paper. So, that option makes complete sense as well, but I think it gives a different meaning to the image.

@etienne Thanks for your reply Etienne. What an interesting situation and I can see what you mean because the little thumbnail photo has cropped out the bottom.and some of the side. Such a simple change to produce a really nice abstract if that's what you're aiming for - good to remember. Thanks so much for your response. Cheers Rob
