These ripples show up in hard packed sand, they are almost as hard as concrete. The sand is so dense here that neither shells or worms can live in it. These ripples are made by the slowly moving tides in an area of shallow waters and of small currents. They were highlighted by the grazing sunlight, with colours that seemed almost unreal
