Ghost wedding on the beach ( Artist Challenge : Alexey Titarenko )

The sun was coming down. The bride and her family were slowly transforming into ghosts… A scary moment for the groom, I guess…

More seriously, I have taken the opportunity of the Artist Challenge to discover the work of Alexey Titarenko. Here is a modest attempt to infuse, by editing one of my pictures, the ghostly atmosphere he creates around some of his models. I did not have the heart to remove the colours, as I should have done in order to better emulate the artist. In conclusion : a rather poor contribution to the challenge, but I spent a pleasant moment at discovering an artist and a technique that were both new to me, and I thank the host for that.

This is so different with the editing creating that feeling of motion while the still figures create such a contrast. What a good way to give extra interest to a group photo. :)
