Saints never know where they'll be needed next...

These statues of the saints are in St. Paul Church, Bayou Goula, Louisiana. After the roof was damaged, the statues were stored at a nearby church and returned home recently. They seem puzzled; they remind me of a group of refugees--the Acadians, perhaps, or Mary and Joseph returning home after their exile in Egypt.
