Don't get me started on Lower Midcity, New Orleans! After Hurricane Katrina, many residents renovated their flooded homes. Then LSU and the VA decided to expropriate much of the neighborhood for two new hospitals. This house stands partially repaired: new foundation piers, replacement windows that have now been broken....
