I stopped for gas during rush hour. The car at the next pump was a 1977 Chrysler New Yorker. My dad had a similar car, so I had to talk to the owner. So did everyone else; I had trouble getting photos because so many people were gathered around it! The current owner was gracious and more than willing to tell his car's story.
The car has less than 30,000 miles on it. The original owner was not the proverbial old lady who only drove to church, but an old man who drove it for four years, backed into a fence and was convinced to stop driving. He stored the car and the current owner bought it 30 years later. It has the original leather seats and shag carpet--a time capsule.
