Art heals, or at least we hope it helps. An installation created by high school students in memory of a classmate who was killed. Our town is called the Sunrise City; I like to think these depict the sunrise, not the sunset...
It is hard enough to deal with death- harder still when you're a teen and it was someone you knew. I do hope this project has helped in the process. I know what it's like for them having experienced it when I was teaching. The colors here are really nice- and I agree- it should be a sunrise.
