A block from the Airbnb where we stayed in New Orleans is an unrepaired house still showing the symbols painted during the house-to-house searches after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
We hear that some things have never been fixed but here is the reality. It's a great textural shot and I like the color of the doors. Too bad there hasn't been anyone able to fix it- or maybe they didn't want to.
@olivetreeann Thanks for the comment. There are many reasons why homes were never repaired. Money, in a lot of cases. But this one is not in the best location, so maybe it did not seem worth it.
