The very hungry caterpillar

One of my favorite children's books!

This guy and lots of his siblings were on a passion flower vine. I looked him up and he is a Gulf fritillary caterpillar. The butterflies are pretty, so I'm making a mental note to try to find some in late summer.

I love this photo! I’m always looking for caterpillars. I can’t wait to see the butterfly — that is a pretty one.
