Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center

Have I mentioned that Lady Bird Johnson was one of my idols? She and Helen Hayes founded the Wildflower Center and their vision to conserve and use native plants continues today in the gardens, administered by the University of Texas.

I remember when she was First Lady and started her conservation process.
