It's that time of year

Brandon's birthday and the start of football season. High school football jamborees start this weekend in Baton Rouge. Sometimes I can hear the marching band practicing at the school near my house.

I can hear a high school marching band practicing near my house too. This is a wonderful photo!

I could hear my high school’s band practicing at my mom’s house . . . I loved it, but that’s when I knew summer was over. Bittersweet!
