Giorgos and Yoda are busily denuding a pomegranate branch. First, they take off and eat all of the blossoms and young fruit, then they take off all of the leaves, eating the little nibbly bits of the leaf stem where it joins the branch. After that is done, they will chew all of the smaller stems down to nubbins and then debark the whole thing. This is a several week process. It is one of their favorite things to do. They have also pruned all of the flowers hanging on the side of their aviary. They are partial to petunias.
