It was a first for me to see climbers out in such cold temperatures! If you look on the top of the rock to the far right, you can just make out the outline of a climber standing. It's been so cold here (highs in the teens), I'm not sure why anyone would attempt to climb, but hey, I bet the view is gorgeous up there!
@webfoot Thank you Paul! I saw the climber while taking the shot! There were actually 4 or 5 of them up there, but the others were sitting down. It was only 11 degrees for a high that day, so I bet climbing was a challenge!
beautiful scene, nice colours and processing; a couple of my brothers climb and they said they preferred the cold since it was less crowded and only experienced climbers would be out.
Man, that looks beautiful from afar, but to climb it in the winter is just not for me. Whenever my husband and I watch those climb Mount Everest documentary shows or movies like The Eiger Sanction we both look at each other and say "I have NO interest in doing that!"
