What a glorious drive to the Mt. Cook area and its majestic glaciated mountain! If you look closely, the blue icy glaciers can be seen among the snowy mountainside. We took this drive a few times and the mountain was covered in clouds obscuring the view. We were lucky on this drive to see most of the mountain and the beautiful light breaking through!
