Just had to post one more shot of a pic I took on Gold Camp Road. Just love these tunnel systems that have been preserved. So much to see driving through this area and of course love taking my camera with me!!
Thank you all for you wonderful comments over this past week! I sure appreciate you all! The editing is a little dramatic, but thought the rocks and sky would be fun for HDR.
Wendy - When I saw yesterday's image I didn't realize that I've been there. A few years ago my brothers, from Boston, were visiting and my wife and I took them for a leisurely drive over this road. Thank You, excellent image.
@webfoot Hi Paul! Sometimes it's just about impossible to avoid unless you use some selective editing in that area to decrease the brightness. In this photo, I used the enhancer painterly and upped the microcontrast to maximum. I then lowered the strength to 94% and then played with lowering the luminosity until the grain went away and I was left with just dark areas in the tunnel. I then saved and did final editing in photoshop with filters. Hope this helps!! Sure appreciate the question. I do have some shots that just don't work with HDR due to the exposure I chose to shoot.
I'm just looking at your project, photo after photo and I could just start clicking Fav for every other pic! I love your project! Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@zuzana Wow! Thank you so much Zuzana for such wonderful words! You just made my day!
